Tour of Missouri Coming to Sedalia!!

?Well, we got it! The individual Time Trial stage of the Tour of Misouri is coming to Sedalia. We will be the 5th stage in the tour.This is a huge opportunity for Sedalia because we will host the start and finish of the race. This is a very exciting time for the local cycling scene so stay tuned for more information to come soon.

As we get into the winter grind, with a 60 degree day here and there, PRBC had it's first meeting under new leadership. It turned out to be a pretty successful meeting. There are a lot of fun things coming down the pipe in the coming months. Please note the list of indoor rides to get us by until the weather warms up:
Wed- trainer rides 6:00 Sat trainer rides 6:00 Sundays: 1:00 from bike shop, trainer ride if it's cold

I would first like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope everyone's first day of 2009 was as enjoyable as mine. We had the first group ride of the year. We left from the Clarendon road trail head and rode for about 20 miles. The weather was great, in the 40's with a breeze. We had about eight members show up, thanks everyone! Don't forget about the regular Sunday rides leaving from the Katy Depot trail head on Sundays as well as the Wednesday and Saturday evening trainer rides at Pro Velo at 6:00. Also, the next PRBC meeting will be on the 12th at 5th Street Brew Pub at 7:00 (same bat time, same bat place). Everyone have a great rest of the week and good start to the new year.
